He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (FCA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA). He also holds an MBA from the University of Colombo, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), and a Bachelor of Business Management (Finance Special) from the University of Kelaniya.
